Hello there! We’re so glad you decided to stop by the Blue Marsh Restaurant web site! We’re located just footsteps from Blue Marsh Lake, in Leesport, PA. We look forward to being able to serve you here at the warmest restaurant in Berks County! Whether it’s a party of two or twenty-five, we’ll go out of our way to make you feel at home, and provide you with exceptional service. We hate the word “no”, and it’s our policy to accommodate you in every way that we can. With all the cookie cutter restaurants that are out there nowadays, we’re confident you’ll find our quaint, down to earth restaurant to be a breath of fresh air!
Anyone who has ever been our guest before knows that we like to have fun. If you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, new baby, new goldfish, ANYTHING, be sure to let us know beforehand. We love to celebrate, and we’ll definitely prove it. If you’re visiting us on your birthday, you’ll get a complimentary order of our famous Blue Marshed Potatoes! However, if you decide to have three birthdays in one week…we may begin to get suspicious.
All of the artwork featured in our restaurant is the original work of local Berks County artists. Even our tables were custom made! We strive to provide a family atmosphere and a unique experience for our patrons. When you’re our guest, we want you to feel that way. Don’t be surprised if your server remembers your order on your next visit! Our staff is eager to please.
One more thing! If you’re not 100% satisfied with your experience here at the Blue Marsh Restaurant, your meal is free! That’s no gimmick. We’re so confident you’re going to love it here that it’s an easy guarantee to make. We didn’t earn the reputation of Berks County’s finest restaurant by disappointing our guests! We don’t believe in customers here, only guests. We are absolutely committed to our goal of becoming your favorite Berks County Restaurant.
So what are you waiting for? Unfortunately, we can’t email your meal to you. We could ship it, but you would probably just end up sending it back. The only solution is that you come on down and pay us a visit! We’re open every single day of the year, even Christmas. No, you don’t have to visit us on Christmas, but that would be nice. Our menu consists of everything you’d expect to find at an authentic, American restaurant. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and everything in between!). We’re famous for our award winning cod sandwich, along with our critically acclaimed country fried steak. We used to offer clam chowder only two days a week, but our insatiable customers started clammering for more, so naturally we obliged. Our famous clam chowder is now available each and every day of the year! We’re confident that no matter what you’re in the mood for, we’ve got something that will hit the spot! We’ve also got a kids menu that they go crazy for (consider that a warning). We know that there are plenty of restaurants in Berks County, and we want to make sure that you visit us again! That’s why we serve only the highest quality food, prepared by the very best chefs in the area. Our head chef, Peter Millard, was recently voted Berks County’s Top Chef by the Reading Eagle! Be sure to say hello to him when you visit us but please, no autographs, he’s got bigger fish to fry.

We are pleased to announce that we now feature a full bar here at the Blue Marsh Restaurant! We also feature the most extensive beer and wine list in all of Berks County. If it’s been bottled, chances are we’ve got it. Got a special bottle of wine you’d like to bring in? Great! We know most restaurants charge outrageous fees to open your bottle. Here at the Blue Marsh Restaurant, it’s only $5. That’s right, $5 per bottle. We know how to have a good time here, and we’d like you to do the same! We also have exciting drink specials going on throughout the week. Feel free to call ahead of time to inquire about what we’ve got going on. Aside from the specials, we also have a regular happy hour from 3-7pm every single day! Yes, Saturday, too! We don’t know about those other restaurants, but we think every day needs some happy hours, and we’re happy to provide them! If you’re feeling adventurous, you should order our notorious Harsh Marsh. It’s an eerie blue concoction reserved for the Blue Marsh elite. Each Harsh Marsh comes with a Blue Marsh Restaurant t-shirt, AND a Polaroid of your pretty face above the bar! You don’t necessarily have to take the t-shirt, it won’t hurt our feelings. But you definitely have to take the Polaroid!

Each Friday and Saturday here at the Blue Marsh Restaurant we feature live, local music!
Various different artists from all over Berks County stop by to entertain our customers. Recent artists include Sonic Foxx, Eddie Beerman, and Keith Sheehan. Best of all, our live shows are always free! What could be better than great food and music? If you’re interested in performing here, great! Drop us a line and let us know what kind of show you put on. All performers get a free dinner, and the bragging rights to say they played the Blue Marsh! Performers that are over 21 years of age also get two free drinks! Just try not to trash your dressing room, please. In addition to the live music, we’ve also got six vintage pinball machines and three deluxe pool tables in our game room. Not to mention the most cutting edge neon beer signs in all of Berks County!

We definitely don’t like Mondays anymore than you do, so here at the Blue Marsh Restaurant, we try to make the absolute most out of them! Along with bargain drink specials, everything on the menu is 20% off until 7pm! Our cheeseburger sliders are also available for only $2.We don’t look at it as losing money, we think of it as doing our part in the battle against the Monday blues. The Blue Marsh is the perfect place to retreat if you decide to cut out of work early on Monday. Your secret is safe with us! If you’d like, we can even write you a note.
